The clinical interview
We take a history of what changed over the last year, and where anything hurts.
Where care starts
Physical therapy at LWI is about understanding your body, restoring function, and building a foundation for lifelong movement.
We will call you at the number you gave us to find a time for your evaluation, and nothing is booked until then.
No referral needed. No injury needed.
Our approach
They run in this order, and each one ends on a condition rather than on a date.
We take a longevity-focused approach that blends clinical expertise with real-world movement. Our goal is to guide you back to a body that feels strong, capable, and connected.
Your first priority is simple. Get out of pain.
We assess your movement, identify root causes, and use a combination of hands-on therapy and targeted exercises to reduce discomfort and calm the system.
Moves on when the pain is low enough to load the joint.
Once pain decreases, we focus on how your body moves.
We rebuild strength, mobility, and coordination so your body can handle real-life demands.
Moves on when your body handles the demand you named on the first day.
This is where LWI is different.
We don’t stop when you feel better. We help you become resilient.
You’ll transition into strength, mobility, and movement practices that protect your joints, improve posture, and support your body for years to come.
This one has no end date.
The first visit
You leave with your findings in plain language and a written plan.
We take a history of what changed over the last year, and where anything hurts.
A knee that swells on the stairs often traces back to a hip, so we examine the whole body.
Hands on treatment can start in the same visit, and how you answer it helps test the working diagnosis.
We go through what we found before you leave, with the measurement beside each finding.
We write it the same day. It names the program and how many sessions a week it asks for.
The evaluation is not an imaging study. If your findings call for a scan or a surgeon, we will say so.
What people come in with
We provide care in a variety of areas, including:
Back and neck pain change how you sit at work and how you sleep, and we start with whichever one matters most to you.
Shoulder and elbow pain shows up when you reach overhead or carry a child up a flight of stairs.
Hip and knee pain shows up on the stairs and on the walk back from the car, long before it shows up sitting down.
Running places repetitive stress on the body and can lead to injuries when training loads exceed tissue capacity.
You have nothing wrong and you want more from your body, which is a different starting point from an injury.
Aging is inevitable.
Changing your body composition takes training and eating together, and both of them run on one written plan here.
Care for high school and collegiate athletes who want to keep training and competing all season.
Leave your number and we will call you back to find a time, since nothing is booked until we speak.
