How sports injuries build up
Many sports injuries develop gradually over time rather than from a single event, through repetitive stress, training errors, inadequate recovery and movement inefficiencies.
We look for those underlying factors in how you train and how you move, and we build your plan around what we find.
Strength, mobility and movement
Limited mobility and poor movement patterns can lead to compensation and injury, so we assess how you move as well as how strong you are.
Your program builds strength, power, endurance and resilience around your sport, your training schedule and the goals you bring to the first visit.
Lacrosse, football, soccer, tennis and golf
We help athletes refine movement quality, manage workload, improve recovery strategies and build physical capacity through a demanding training cycle.
The first visit
The evaluation is the same one somebody in pain gets, starting with a history and an exam of the whole body.
We measure strength and joint range on both sides, and those numbers become the baseline we retest against.
Coming back from an injury
If you are coming back from an injury, we test your strength and how you move before you return to training and competition.
What you leave with
You leave with your findings in plain language and with a written plan for the months ahead.
Care here runs one to two sessions a week, and we retest against the numbers your exam produced.
